At eleven, Prince Augustus (August) carried more burdens than most grown men. He grew up in a country where royals were not very favored by the citizens, leading to his own safety being threatened and many traumatic events. His only escape was in his dreams where he met an enchanting girl who loved black roses, the very flower his family believed cursed. On the night they first crossed paths, they found one laying perfectly in the moonlight, binding them together in secret wonder. As the years passed, their dream world grew sharper, their bond deeper. He loved her. But on the night he meant to confess, the dreams vanished-and so did she. Years later, at his twentieth birthday ball, August sees her again. Same violet blue eyes. Same girl. Will they get their happily ever after? Or will they find out the price you pay when you stroke the thorns of a Black Rose?

Idk really, there didn't seem to be many books for MTL's and Oneshots based on The Rose so I've decided to make one.... Ocean loved baking cookies With her, and how Constance Would always help her With french homework, because unlike all other schoolwork, she was horrible at it. She loved going on picnics with her, and how Constance Would always bring a little extra bread that they could throw to the ducks when they were done eating. She loved having sleepovers With her, and how they'd have musical marathons, and how Constance would always sing along loudly to all the songs she liked, and Ocean would always listen, because she loved the sound of her voice. They found out, and all of a sudden they decided they should move to a bigger city, so she could have "more opportunity". Not even 3 days after these news, they were already in Toronto. I wrote this story a few years ago. I was meditating and came up with this story. As soon as I stop meditating I was like, "I have to get this world on paper!" So, here you go!

Gilbert doesn't have much friends. He lives alone with his cat. Until one day he gets a bouquet of black roses with a note. Only this is very odd to him, he doesn't have a lover, and the note has the name of two people he doesn't know.
