They go to live at the palace where she meets the prince. They form a special friendship, but being around the prince is making all of the memories that caused her to leave her home to come back. And when she comes face to face with the killer she has to make a choice.

A small lovecraftian tale about an unknown man that pay for a trip from his home port of Braila to Istanbul, but the ancient death sailors won't allow them safe passage. Another short story that I wrote this summer, not my best work but I hope you enjoy it!

Once Upon a time, there was a grumpy queen who had married an enormous green toad. The Queen was so grumpy, so grumpy, that she couldn't get along with anyone. She only had one white horse. The queen rode that horse all the time. She rarely returned to her country, she liked to travel in the mountains, deserts, beaches, forests, but most of all she liked to travel in abandoned villages at the foothills of the mountains. The Queen's belly was getting bigger and bigger, and although everyone told her she might be pregnant, she didn't believe anyone.

Mermaids are beautiful creatures that sit out on rocks combing their long flowing hair and singing in the pure voice of the sea right? .....Wrong. The Rozanna has this with the mermaids. After claiming a previous ship captains wife Rozanna, the ships name sake, for the sea they seem to follow The Rozanna around watching it waiting for their next prey. They seem to know exactly who has that reckless spirit that longs to be a part of the sea; stow aways, eager young sailors seeking to captain their own ships some day, even ship captain's are the likely targets anyone who wants nothing more than the thrill of traveling by sea. When these mermaids decide they want Captain Aleksander Galey's first mate of ten years Danil, Aleksander try's at first to help the younger sailor find the mermaid who has stolen his heart. But in their research Aleksander finds the true sinister nature of these sea creatures. They control nearly everything to do with the water, which makes the sea no longer Aleksander's safe haven from a world where he feels as though he is constantly an outcast. No one who goes in that water is safe. Sadly Danil is far to love stricken and wasted far to much effort to find his mermaid to listen to his warnings. Sooner or later mermaids always make people choose. Will love stricken Danil choose the land or the sea? And what will it cost him?

Whale, currently home to over a million souls floating in the depths of space, was not the only craft to have left Earth. The architect who had designed Whale seemed to have personal motives for the project he had been given, motives he implemented into his work. This craft was boarded hastily, however, and most of the current populace did not remember why. Once Upon a time, there was an Idler Boy who lived with his mother. Their house was on the edge of a huge forest. The Idler Boy loved the trees and climbed them consistently. He collected flowers most often found on the tops of trees and tree barks from the forest for the flower shop that he and his mother ran. 13 women lived deep in the forest, where the trees were highest. These 13 women held the monsters of the forest and protected the forest and the villagers. The villagers believed that wealth and abundance came with the branches planted by these 13 women, and that the rains fell. A very important job of the Idler Boy was to carry the food and drinks that the villagers gave to the women of this forest in time. The Idler Boy was the only one who was not afraid to do this job, while almost everyone was afraid of the 13 women of the forest.
