The heels of her boots dig into the ground as she steadies herself, blood thrumming viciously in her ears as her heart races. If they weren't going to listen, she was sure a hell gonna make them. Nails digging into her fingerless gloves she feels the butterflies in her stomach come to life as she smirks. It's when her blood red lips part that she finally sings a tune they're for sure gonna hear well into their sleep. She may not be the first Canary but she was the first Black Canary and she wasn't going to let anyone for get that.

As he faces his greatest enemy yet. Oliver finds himself in a tough position, and that is being undecided about who is the woman he loves. He has loved Laurel almost his entire life, yet Felicity lit up his world since he met her. In a matter of life and death, Oliver must choose her, the question is, who? Basically me exploring both ships because they're both amazing and eventually concluding who is the best for Oliver. NO HATE towards any ship. Spoilers for arrow! Could be seen as a rewrite and fix it to the end of season 4. Also changing most of season 5.

What makes a hero a hero? It's not the cape or the mask. It's not their actions. A hero inspires, a hero protects, but above all, a hero is always there. Black Canary is not a hero, the woman beneath the mask is the real hero.
