This story based around 3 teen boys living in the poor broken parts of North Philadelphia. They are trying to make it through life of drug dealing but soon begins to find out its not so easy... This is Philly K.I.D.S Note:Most of the conversations in this story have North Philly slang...I might make a glossary or something.Enjoy!!

Ain't got nothin', won't be nothin'. That's the motto that most of the boys from the east side of Brooklyn went by. Some of them were thieves, drug dealers, murderers, or even rapists. They were an array of criminals, but all for one reason - to get by. Then there were the others, the ones who were athletes or writers or engineers, talented people who actually had a ticket out of the hood. Then there were people in the middle who got along with everybody but never really chose one side. People like Max. When you float along in the river that is the ghetto, you may think you're unbothered, but there is always something waiting. There will always be a stick in the water, and for Max, it all came at the wrong time. Most of his friends were on the criminal side, but he was just about to get his one-way departure ticket before things came crashing down. There were only two possibilities: either he got stuck in the hood forever, or he lost his life. After living here for so long, you realize that those two are one and the same.

Leah Fulton is not your typical teenager. First shes the step-daughter of Multi Millionaire Darrin Love. Second shes one of the first ones that's made it out of the hood. but shes still stuck in her old mentality. But when she meets Justin Harrington, Her Neighbors Nephew, will she change her ways, or drag him into her lifestyle?

I couldn't breathe for the first time in a few days, everything was my fault, Everything that was taking place at this moment was happening because of me, i continued on trying to convince myself of this, and I couldn't wrap my finger around the thought of him possibly leaving me for something oh so small! He was my everything, there was not a moment of any day where he wasn't on my mind, I was consumed by my steady neediness for him, because to me EVERYTHING WAS ABOUT HIM, every movement I made, every aspect of how I acted and how I felt on a daily basis would depict on his feelings and how he might've felt about me. I can never breathe around him, and for a long time I always compared that feeling to having butterflies but if this is what that felt like, I don't wanna ever feel that way again! I was always consumed by fear and the possible "what if's" which made me live life like it all was for him. FAMILIES BROKEN! FRIENDS LOST! TIME WASTED! And all I had to show for it was a broken heart and 3 book triology of messages I was sending him back to back and! Still no answer, AS USUAL!
