His life is fairly ordinary, even with his nightly visits to the tavern, which he enjoys, keeping himself on task and on schedule and occasionally going hunting outside of the city walls. His true destiny, however, is revealed to him soon after he meets the half-elf Aila Greenwood, who helps him discover a path that he had never dreamed would open to him, meeting many more friends and enemies along the way.
