In the year 21XX, It was hard to tell the difference between real and synthetic when walking the streets of Xernea City. The walls were as augmented as the people who walked within them. Slowly over decades the corruption of the city has brought humanity's moralistic integrity to an all time low, accelerated by the ever advancing pushes of technology. The Xernea Police Department already had it's hands full, seeing how it's officers were all once convicts themselves. A female operative of the XPD, Motoko Vashti, happened to regain her life through one of these convict-to-justice contracts. But is quickly learning that in a false world, no one can be trusted.

After replicant Officer K fails one too many baseline tests, he is saved from a deadly fate by his Lieutenant and sent to work for mysterious billionaire William Pruett. Pruett has a job for K, guarding his stubborn daughter Alice. It's a job K takes because he has no choice, and a job that will challenge the line of what it means to be human and to love. My fav characters and why I like them

A gateway to a long-awaited, always-online virtual island (an 'Autonomous World' or 'Permaworld') has opened for those who've found a key. This includes Dan Harvester, a guy who lives in a run-down apartment with his cat and runs a gaming channel. He's almost done playing and testing VR games, but this one could be his final chance to - truly - level up. What can it promise to him, and all its very first 'pioneers'? 'Fountellion'...is said to be 'natural' game-world, a N.E.P. world (Naturally-Evolving PermaWorld) full of artificial life that mimics the laws of our own natural world, with its shaping force of evolution. The game promises to be more than an open-world survival experience, for there are seven 'Insights' scattered and every player can find their own path to them. How much will Dan be changed, by his own search? A game-within-a-game or a simulated homage to the natural world? A complete vision of a 'metaverse' design which overgrows or salvages addicted players? There is only one way to find out: Tune in and experience Dan's 'avalogs'. For only by completing them and the fragments from the development, may you too discover the vision and legacy of 'Fountellion'... Corporations still reign supreme, but aliens lie at the top of the social ladder. Azareans they call them, overlords who've constructed a new kind of city for the modern world. The Eden: a modern megapolis. Accustomed to life in the modern city, Jessica has learned to embrace challenge when it comes her way. Without a cause, she confides in her three friends or smacks into boredom. And when she seamlessly cracks an uncrackable corporate security algorithm, nothing makes sense. Faced with world-turning revelations, the life she's led seems trivial next to a hundred-year lie and tragedy.
