What if...

Nate/Serena, Chuck/Blair, Dan/Vanessa, Jenny/Andrew and Carter/Penelope are married with teenage kids. This fanfic focuses on their children and the drama in their children's high school lives. Cameron Archibald is with Audrey Bass but is hanging on loose thread as he does not give their relationship due importance. Haley Baizen is in love with James Archibald, but he's with Rachel. Sydney Baizen tries to split Sam Ritcher and Caitlin Archibald and she wants Sam for herself.

After 3 years of marriage, a miscarriage, sleepless nights, cheating, tears and infertility, Serena and Dan have been through it all. But when a devastating discovery and the return of a mistress strike, can they get through this one?

I always hated the fact that Serena ended up with Dan, at the end of Gossip Girl. Not necessarily because I hated Dan, but because I am more of a Nate fan. Which is why I have decided to write, (or rather to rewrite) this story. Well that and because I am rewatching Gossip Girl again. If you are Now former with Gossip Girl then you know that by a certain point, Nate's character was a dick. And (as much as this hurts me to say this) I know that Serena wasn't perfect, because she made her fair sharif mistakes. That however isn't my point in writing this story, all I want to do is right a good Gossip Girl story that ends the way I wanted the show to be. If you are familiar with my stories (which lets be honest, I haven't written in a long time) then you will know that I have this bad habit of combining multiple shows/characters into my stories, and this one isn't any different. I would also like to remind everyone that no money will be made off of this story, and that none of these characters, or places that might end up in this story actually belong to me, they were created by people with far more talented and time than I have.
