Blayne "Ace" Mitchell, ex-government mercenary retired at age 29, was born with a knack for solving crimes. He was passing through Washington when greeted with caution tape and sirens. Unable to resist the urge to solve the mystery of a three dead couples, Blayne is sent spiraling into a dangerous conspiracy so deep, so twisted, and so personal, it seems he'll never be able to escape.

Blayne Carpenter lives in a world where soul mates are found by corresponding tattoos. She is the Yin Yang, so is Ace, the mystery boy. However, there is something off about the tattoos, something that has never happened before.

When Blayne meets a beautiful and alluring man on a flight to his home town, things in his life begin to shift and change right before his eyes. Unexplainable things begin to happen and the world Nathaniel knows is soon replaced by the dark and the sickeningly intoxicating world of Alyax Rose ~~~~~ UPDATE: after writing this story a few years back i feel like it could really be something more than i made it. i want to revisit it and improve it, so ill be unpublishing the chapters and starting to fix it up from the beginning and i will go from there. the story will most likely change from what it was in the beginning but i'm hoping it changes for the better into a more well written novel.
