When the young hero takes a job in hope of getting enough money to feed his grandkids children's children he gets separated from his group and finds a sword and a girl. Before he can ask any questions he is killed by one of his "teammates". As they take the crimson saber and the girl the boy has a vision and next thing he knows he's alive again with not only the power of the blazing sword also known as the sword of the old king along with the powers of old gods he sets of to discover the secrets of the world.
