But to make sure the blood-suckers stayed in control, the Queen had to make a few changes... Savannah Heywood is nothing but a teenage human girl from a small village. At least, that's what she thinks. But once the day comes when she is cast into the dreaded Bloodlust State, she meets three new people who met the same fate as her, and despite the fact they are all strikingly different, become friends quite quickly. But when a young Vampire guard named Sang comes along, things begin to take a turn for the worst.
