After the Battle of Hogwarts, what happens when The Ministry of Magic implements a system where pureblood families, who are struggling to stand on their own two feet, live with another wizard and witch until they get back onto their feet? Also, one of the families that have agreed to take a pureblood family in is the Weasleys. In addition, the Malfoys (discluding Lucius since he's in Azkaban) are put into this system. Oh, and did I forget to mention that all Hogwarts students - who were in their seventh year last year - have to return for eighth year. By the way, I do not own Harry Potter or the cover art.

As Harry struggles with guilt over the past, and Draco tries to put that past behind him, a unexpected assignment by Hagrid turns the tables. Draco Malfoy is a wreck. After the war, he returned to Malfoy Manor and secluded himself from everyone, including his mother. Wandless for five years, he becomes a broken boy no spell can fix. He is at peace with himself, no longer addicted to Dreamless Sleep Potions or forcing himself to be happy with Ginny Weasley. Working as a healer at St. Mungo's, he works overtime to conceal the hole in his heart and his hatred of his empty house. Harry Potter, a loving kid with a very loving family was diagnosed with cancer when he was 15 now he's 16 and is a happy little thing. Draco on the other hand had gone through stuff.
