Every year, the tributes fight in the Hunger Games arenas. Every year, the citizens of Panem and the Capital watch. And every year, the mentors have to watch from the mentors room, famed Victors themselves, and almost entirely unable to bring home another Victor. Nobody's ever said that a Victor's life got easier after the games ended.

I want to preface this with a warning this was written/is being written with the assumption that the reader has played dragon age origins if you haven't then you really should great game. A story made up of other tales, told from the perspectives of soldiers encountering The Blight from different parts of the world. This story will dive into themes of the meaning of life, the heavy cost of sacrifice, and the cycle of war and violence. Each episode will tell the story of each map chronologically from the eyes of an individual soldier from each nation. This is a good story if you want to read and enjoy the lore of Guts & Blackpowder. There will also be original characters with moral development, but regardless of that, everything else included in the story will be accurate to the lore. Stay tuned and notified. This is still a work-in-progress and it might take a while to write about each map because I have to plan the story, the character developments, and write the rough drafts. CONTENT: There will be some detailed descriptions of blood, gore, and violence. (This is based on the Roblox game, Guts & Blackpowder. It's a zombie game that takes place during the Napoleonic Wars where soldiers are fighting against the hordes of the undead in campaigns and missions). - I did use AI to generate the characters in the cover (since I can't draw) so that their outfits are most historically accurate. - All of the images at the top for each chapter are from Guts & Blackpowder and are NOT drawn by me.

The Enterprise has been sent to investigate the cause of a deadly blight that had set on a once lively world, Katsina. This blight turns the innocent living into parasitic, ravenous, mutations that seek out the uninfected to spread the blight and that is how this planet's residents are falling victim. The landing party has their work cut out for them when a couple of them go missing and they are all stuck there as the strange energy radiating from the planet interferes with communication and makes it impossible for the landing parties to keep in touch with the ship. (There are a little hints that this fic was inspired by one of my favorite movies that Karl Urban played in but this will remain as a story interpreting the original ST characters)
