It all began with a stolen lightning bolt. Percy Jackson, a boy who always thought he was just a "troubled kid," discovered he was the son of the sea god, Poseidon. In his first year, he had to not only learn how to fight but also discover who his true friends were. He found a powerful ally in Annabeth, but it was meeting Alex, the resourceful son of Hephaestus, that would change his path forever. Together, they survived the first betrayals of Luke Castellan, the demigod who had sided with the dark Titan, Kronos. The years that followed were a whirlwind of danger. They sailed the Sea of Monsters to save the camp and braved the icy heights of Mount Othrys to rescue the goddess Artemis and went through a labyrintfull of traps to find daedalus. During these journeys, their group grew, but so did the monsters.
