Transferring to a new University was supposed to be an exciting turning point in Yugi Mutou's life. Reuniting with old friends and making new ones sounded like a huge relief for him after an exhausting summer. But meeting new people also includes the ominous student living on his dormitory floor-the infamous "Yami" Atem Sennen, whose reputation is more dark and notorious than Yugi could have ever expected. How can becoming invested with such a sadistic man completely change the course of Yugi's life? Is there an alternative?

Atem is a Pharaoh who storms out one day to find a human falling out of the sky. Yugi is a time traveller on a quest to save the present. What happens when these two meet one faithful day?

Exactly as the title says.

Yuugi has a bad date and his best friend helps him out. Said best friend insists on being in love with Yuugi, but pfft, that can't be right.

Yugi, a young boy who was a servant for the royal family in Egypt, had stumbled upon the young prince with one of his teachers in the garden. Yugi was not allowed to befriend or speak with Atem unless asked or forced to. One day, Yugi was playing with some of the other servant kids until the young prince and his friend Mana were out in the field kicking some rocks. The young servant had not realized on how much he and the prince looked alike, the only 2 differences were that Yugi was way more paler and was not royal. Yugi had somehow gotten hurt, and this is where the relationship began. As his "friends" left him because they could not handle the crying, the caring prince and his friend rushed over to his aid. The servant just thought they'd help so none of their 'slaves' would be harmed and could continue working but that's not how Atem saw it. Later on things had happened to where the prince had ordered his father to keep Yugi in the palace, so the two grew up together until war began. For 3 years Atem had left.. Yugi hopes to see him soon someday.

Yugi pawed at her legs wanting to know the surprise. Kathleen smiled as she picked Yugi up. "We're moving in with Ryan. He has a big house just outside of the city. You will have a lot more room to play and you will get to have two new playmates."
