Kara wonders about her purpose in life until she discovers about Equalists, an anti-bending revolution in Republic City. As Kara investigates more, she finds out the identity of Amon, her long-lost friend, Noatak.

The story centers on Pire, a 17-year-old boy who discovers his identity as a Blood Bender, part of an ancient lineage with mysterious and powerful abilities. Pire's journey begins with personal tragedy, including the loss of his girlfriend, Elise, caused by his uncontrolled powers. His life takes a turn when he meets Carly, a girl with a beastly nature connected to Lycanthara, a rival kingdom of shape-shifting Lycans. Both are drawn into a larger conflict shaped by destiny and prophecies.
