He found the name in a book while trekking through Byrgenwerth, and so, he started calling himself as such. He does not where he comes from. He does not know who he was before this. All he remembers is the unending Nightmare and hell he woke up to. But then it suddenly all ended. With the death of the Moon Presence, Dante finds himself in a world of color, of life. But when the nightmares of his old world follow him, he will take on the mantle of Hunter. And a Hunter must hunt. Above all else, a Hunter. Must. A Great One is a superior being, above all levels of existence a human could even hope to achieve. Merely learning the eldritch truth around these great beasts could drive a man mad, so that his mind could be used to help another begin to learn that same truth. (I own nothing, not RWBY, Rooster Teeth can go fuck themselves for ruining a good series, nor Bloodborne, FromSoftware makes the best Games in my opinion)

This is an old one shot ficlet I wrote while playing Bloodborne. I was most interested in the concept of what 'Pale Blood' was & understanding the lore. This is simply an idea with more questions than answers & remained as short as it was on purpose.

This story takes the Old Hunters from Bloodborne and places them in the world of remnant, where they enroll at beacon alongside team RWBY after awaking from their horrible hunters dream.
