Had there been no fear within him, TechnoBlade may have starred forever, following the white bandanna's edges, tied loosely around the man's hair. But alas, terror was all that coursed through his veins now. When the figure took a step forward, Techno bolted in the direction originally set. He had to escape. The gate was in view. It looked different than it had before. Maybe it was the sky above. Maybe it was the fact of it being more than just a gate. More being a liberator or sign of freedom. Or maybe it was just the haze. All he had to do now... was reach it. He sat there crying as he looked up upon Technoblade from above. "And I won't lie. It hurts."

It is hitting me way harder than I expected, and I momentarily thought that it was weird because I did not personally know him, though he did see my comment in a twitch chat once and said "hi" and made my freaking day. Dream, however, said that it is actually very normal for this to affect us so much because he was such an amazing person who was a huge influence and inspiration to us all, and continues to be. In honor of Technoblade, the Blood God, I want to make a huge quote book, but I want it to be a collaborative effort. I want anyone who sees this to comment their favorite Technoblade quotes and I will update regularly to include every single one. One day, after this is full enough, I want to somehow get it to the DSMP members so that they have a book of Techno's greatest moments. Please join this effort.
