This piece is both deeply personal and highly embarrassing. Perhaps there is no difference. I don't know if it's prose or a story. It's more of a stream-of-consciousness word vomit. Yeah, it is overly dramatic, but that's why I like it. Our emotions are so much bigger inside us than can reasonably be described in words, so dramatic comparisons help me see that what is so scary inside me may not be as scary after all.
