The line above pretty much describes it, I'm a sixth form student who takes pleasure in story writing wether good or bad it's a stress relief for me, I'm happy to accept criticism but there's a very fine line between haters and criticism from people, so please refrain from just attacking my story.

I have to admit that I am bit daunted by the new perception of a vampire. Romanticism has created a parody of the legend: gaunt and sickly has been replaced by prim and sensual. The creature is more Don Juan than Vlad the Impaler, more passionate kisser than frenzied blood drinker, more dreamy than nightmare, more sentimental lover than cold solitary hunter. I am baffled by this overt need to change a fiendish anomaly into some kind of avatar of love. At its best, a gifted vampire can appear suave and debonair, but this is merely a masquerade, a deception to dupe the unsuspecting and easily charmed. This ability to interact with society is a tool and nothing more, as much a hunting mechanism as a tiger’s claws. And like a tiger in high brush, the vampire possibly uses an air of nobility to ambush its intended prey. I view it as an adaptive response to its environment. Meet a vampire in the woods and geniality and etiquette will be replaced by ravenous hunger and perverse delight. Make no mistake; the beast is always waiting to pounce. I guess I can understand the eroticism of blood drinking and the allure of immortality, but why erase the drawbacks? In doing so, authors have created a near perfect creature, that when compared to a human, seems a divinity. I find this deplorable. Whether it’s because of interactions, deals, and unions or in becoming, the repercussions make the monster. Take those away and you no longer have a vampire… You have an angel, with a penchant for drinking blood. Apparently words have a more profound effect on a creature of the night than any crucifix, vial of holy water or clove of garlic. I guess I am out of touch with trends, and my revelry is dragging… This is a paranormal romance of sorts, yet it isn't. More of antithesis to what is considered mainstream and popular. Two 20-year-olds decide to take in a human. Ben the vampire and Grey the werewolf. Justin the human didn't know what to think of his new circumstances, he just wanted to make sure he'd never suffer again. He had been kidnapped by crazy humans who he was certain were going to try to pair him with a young girl to breed the next brand of fighters. Only to have the humans vanish and leave him suffering and starving, to be found by the ones who turned his life upside down. This story has been sitting in my drafts for a year, and honestly, I think it'll be interesting to publish! This doesn't have anything to do with my other stories, it's in its own fantasy world.

Homes were seen as safe havens for humans from the frosty darkness. A blackness that has spread throughout all of London. The abyss eating away at the streets. Blood dripping down cracks of buildings. Every drop left the scent of death in the air. The red liquid flowed as it cascaded down their lips.
