This story was originally based on HungjuiChiu's Ash's Story Journey Version fanfiction. I kinda wanna make my own version because of it. The story started at episode 2 of Journeys.

Book 1 Ash Ketchum had supposedly died in that Forest Fire created by the Boss of Team Rocket Giovanni after being betrayed by the ones closest to him. But to the older Pokedex holders it made no sense. Giovanni was supposed to be dead, killed at the hands of his own son Silver who swore he would defeat his father. And it had come true. Meanwhile all of Ash's friends were devastated, Ash was the glue that bound them together. They were broken without him. Experience Ash's story of betrayal and redemption. Experience Jimmy and Paul's struggle as they try and save their friend from Giovanni and his manipulation. Join our heroes as they struggle to defeat Giovanni once and for all. Honestly Ash being betrayed is an interesting concept and done many times so I tried to differentiate my story from others. All characters belong to Gamefreak and the Pokemon company who made my childhood amazing.
