When multiple NEST Squads located in China have not responded, and autobots deployed there have not responded, Ironhide has a feeling that a decepticon traitor he has fought before has resurfaced: Bludgeon. He attempts to ignore his feelings, but once a close friend is attacked, he sets out to close the wound that has re-opened.

Upon his arrival to Earth, Ultra Magnus is tasked with finding the Decepticon deserter Deadlock and bringing him to the Autobots. However, he is not the only one on the hunt as Deadlock is also being pursued by an enemy far more dangerous then Megatron himself.
