Blue-grey Stories

So on my profile, I mention that I chose my name because of a post-rain sky I once saw. Excitingly, I have unearthed the poem that I wrote upon seeing that sky. From my days as a Lower Sixth Former, 2011 maybe? Hope you enjoy :)

This is about the tragedy of suicide, the love of a brother for his sister, and the love of strangers for each other. Even if you think this is just a story, and life isn't like this. I promise it is. This is not the story where the pizza boy comes to your door and you fall in love, this is the not the story where you happen to meet your favorite celebrity on the street and you get married. This is not the sad story about a girl being abused, and bullied, and who doesn't have a father, or any of other tragedy you can think of, who decides to end her life. You don't have to have a reason to be depressed, to hate life or yourself. That's what this is about. Real life. But promise me, throughout the whole book, no matter what happens, you will believe me that this is how life works.
