Imperial year 1159 a nun of Garreg Mach monastery dies mysteriously during child birth leaving behind her beloved daughter Byleth. In a turn of events her Father attempts to flee with the child in the dead of night, only to fail. Now Byleth grows up under the guidance of her strange grandmother while her Father and her reside in the monastery.

It has been a year since Dimitri took back the throne and ended the five-year war that almost destroyed him. But his past still haunts him. He struggles to find peace in Fhirdiad, a place filled with so many unpleasant memories. When Dedue suggests that they visit Garreg Mach monastery, he jumps at the opportunity to escape from the crushing weight of being king, if only for a short while. But reminders of other duties, more specifically marriage, will not leave him be, and Dimitri is forced to face the reality that he will never be allowed to be with the one he loves...unless he rips the foundations of the Kingdom to shreds. CONTAINS SPOILERS FOR ALL ROUTES + DLC Rhea has always wanted to bring back her mother. Thanks to Byleth, she finally succeeded. When a war begins, Byleth is torn between his loyalty towards the church and his loyalty towards the students of Garreg Mach. Essentially a Dragonleth AU with mostly minor storyline changes. (I can't draw, but I did try to draw a cover for this. So cover credits go to me.)

Basically my other Fire Emblem Three hopes story, but this one takes place with the Blue Lions instead of the Black Eagles. This story picks up right when Y/N meets Rhea and chooses his house.
