Crumbling beneath the pressure to provide, keep the peace, and cope with the past and present, Jaysen's OCD tendencies go from bad to worse, right before Dakota's eyes. I wrote this for the Blumhouse competition :) The idea behind the story: A woman visits her father with her young daughter. Since being diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's, he has been living out in the forest. Once a week a nurse will visit him, but otherwise he is completely secluded, and cut off from the world. His daughter, and granddaughter notice the changes in him, as he begins to lose himself more and more. One night while staying in their rooms, three twisted monsters show up and attack them. After looking further into these demons, the man's daughter finds out that the woods are blessed by the will of fairies, and wishes, dreams, and memories can take physical manifestation. She comes to the realization that the monsters are a physical manifestation of his warped memories of their last moments together as a family, and reconciles with him. The story would end on a good note, if I were to write the whole thing out.

An alternate follow up sequel to Halloween Ends. !!SW!! Spoiler warning for Halloween (1978) and the whole blumhouse trilogy !!TW!! Blood, gore and swearing No, Michael doesn't magically get (SPOILER) resurrected from the shredder, his body's definitely shredded to bits and pieces, but not the evil within him, as it passes onto the next.. (the book cover was drawn by myself)

(This is just my own explanation of how I hope the sequel goes.) SYNOPSIS: This time, our hero Tree discovers that dying over and over was surprisingly easier than the dangers that lie ahead. Picking right up after the events of the first film, Theresa "Tree" Gelbman has finally caught the person murdering her on her birthday when she was placed in the time loop. Tree is beginning to finally feel herself again and now living the life she has dreamed of and has become a better version of herself alongside dating Carter Davis. But after discovering that people close to her now are experiencing the time loop and getting murdered by a babyface killer she realizes the connection. Tree is murdered again and now realizes everyone is in the same time loop with her. Tree now has to catch the new copycat killer before it's too late to save herself and the rest of her friends. This time, death makes a killer comeback.

This short story is about a young woman with a twisted perception of what is real and what is fake. While reading this story you must think outside the box and pay attention to key details. Based on the real-life yellow fever epidemics of Louisiana, The Visitation introduces us to the broken psyche of Madolen, a young Creole girl suffering from scrupulosity (religious OCD) and delusions that she's being tormented from beyond the grave by her dead sister. After she falls ill, we see the desperation of someone as they battle sickness and their fear of damnation. #WelcomeToTheBlumhouse
