All her life Hermione loved facts, they were straightforward. Facts only had one explanation and, no matter how complicated the answer was, facts always made sense. But on her eighth year of Hogwarts, a chance for a fresh start without Voldemort plaguing her, life throws her a curveball. Hermione finds herself facing a question she thought was a straightforward fact, regarding who her real family is. A fact, she thought, had a straightforward answer. Now nothing in her life makes sense anymore.

Hermione Granger hoped to have a normal seventh year after the Wizarding War. However, a new policy throws her into the path of the one she hates most...Draco Malfoy.

But the biggest change in him was that he didn't care about blood purity anymore. Muggleborn, halfblood, pureblood, it all felt the same to him. Why? Because he saw all the muggleborns that he used to consider beneath him, fight. He saw them fight while he ran like a coward. He saw them fight for their world. For a better life. He saw her fight. Fight more then she ever had. He saw her contain her screams as his crazy aunt tormented her while he was in the same room and didn't do anything to stop it. Hermione's head falls to her desk with a thud. Does no one think she can survive this? Maybe it's the red eyes. Maybe it's the look of despair on her face. No one sees hermione Granger, War Heroine anymore. They see a little girl who lost the only good thing she had going for her. Her door opens and she groans, picking her head up. Her honey brown eyes meet cold steely silver. She stands up and grips her wand tightly. "What do you want from me, Malfoy. I'm particularly hormonal right now and will not hesitate to he you into the next century." He holds his hands up, a muggle sign for peace. She looks at him. Really looks at him. His usually neatly combed hair is awry. There are dark circles underneath his eyes, making his face look sullen. He isn't wearing his regular fine, italian suit but a pair of cheap muggle sweats and a tee. For the first time she realizes that he got cheated on too. "Granger." His voice is broken and heavy, as if bearing weight in just the one word. "I need to prove them wrong."

Hermione hasn't been to a Granger Reunion since she left for Hogwarts. When she gets a letter, 7 years after the Battle of Hogwarts, that invites her to the reunion, what will she do? (Just a note: I do not own any of the characters, besides the extended family. J.k. Rowling owns the characters)

The previous seventh-year students have returned for their eighth and final year since their entire seventh year was spent fighting off Voldemort and his death eaters. Hundreds of witches and wizards have died, and the population is extremely low. With not enough witches and wizards left in the population, a new law is put into place, those ages 17-25 are expected to marry and produce children in the next two years of their life. Marriage shall be required in one year. If a witch or wizard of age refuses to wed, their wands will be snapped and magic taken away. Not wishing this, the seventh and eighth-year students obey, they would be placed into an arranged marriage, based on what the sorting hats new brother decides. Who will be placed with who? What will come of this new law? Will it be for the better or for worse? AS OF JUNE 9TH, 2023! UNDER MAJOR RECONSTRUCTION!
