She felt empty and alone but someone unexpected helped and cheered her up. She started to hang out with this mystery person and new feelings have begun to bloom. Don't smile if you don't mean it, Remi. The thought hung heavy in his mind. He didn't want to see her smile if she didn't mean it. The positivity that spewed out of her mouth was fake. She was feeling just as hurt and drained as he was. Though he felt the need for her to brighten up his mood, Blyke couldn't bear to see her like this and couldn't stand her faux positivity. He wished that just once she'd drop the act and express the turmoil she was truly feeling. It pained him to think that she didn't feel comfortable expressing such a delicate, weak side of her.
