Y/n is sent away to live with her aunt and uncle. On the train there she meets a girl and quickly become friends. They say their goodbyes only to meet again. Most don't like Anne, and she stands up for her. She does try to make the other girls like her, or listen to the guys, or rules in general. She lives by her own rules. That's what catches the eye of Gilbert. They quickly get into the friendship thing but that doesn't last long until it becomes more.

Anne and Diana are headed to school and pretending to be Lady Cordelia and a prince when Gilbert chances to find them along the road. When he attempts to correct Anne, her fiery temper erupts, but for a reason that you might not expect...
