She's never had it so she asks her parents if she can try the drink. However, something appalling happens. Fifteen year-old Akira is a very...what's the word...depressing girl. She doesn't talk or smile, and hasn't done this ever since she ran away from her home when she was ten years old. She's been this way for a long time. Naoko on the other hand, is also an orphan, but he will do anything for anything. He gets in trouble a LOT, but doesn't care. He is a VERY happy & playful boy. When the two bump into each other in a very bad situation, they both have different plans to get out of it. Since they had to do something, Akira takes a risk and goes with Naoko's plan, and so begins the most exciting summer of Akira's life. There will be bumps & bruises, as Akira learns that she doesn't have to be sad & depressed all the time, and what it takes to lighten up.
