[Set in X Men: The Last Stand]
Sierra Storm has been through total hell in her young life so far, as a superbly powerful element controlling mutant.
Three years ago, she lost one of her favorite teachers who died at Alkali Lake, she lost her best friend and boyfriend when he left to go join the Brotherhood of Mutants with Magneto as his new leader.
She also may as well have lost her favorite teacher as well, who was more of an older brother like figure on the same day, after he had lost Jean Gray, when she had been the one to save them all by sacrificing herself at Alkali Lake.
Now three years later, Sierra has accepted her position officially as the defensive and offensive combat teacher, and she is happy where she is.
They have a president who finally chooses to understand them, a mutant in the cabinet among the humans, and there has been no word of Erik or the rest of the Brotherhood.
But make no mistake, there is something definitely now brewing under the surface of all the supposed 'peace' between the two most dominant species on the planet.
The battle lines have been drawn. Which side will be victorious in the war to come, and perhaps arguably, more importantly...
Which will Element side with?
The Brotherhood of Mutants, side with Magneto and her ex who ditches her for the Brotherhood arguably when she needed him the most.
Or the X Men, the home that she had chosen over her best friend, had been her home since when she was 12, and that she still stands with now.
A home that fights for what they believe in, without an added goal of completely eradicating the others of humanity.
The goal not to leave only mutants still living behind, but rather to work with the humans weaker then themselves, to coexist as one as they had done when they were all just human, without any mutants to speak of.
