Evangeline Calliope Finstock has had a life of shitty luck. Well, maybe not shitty per se, just not great. Her mom passed away when she was only seven. She grew up living with her father until the fire. The fire that burned down her house, leaving her with nothing but herself, her phone, and her adorable cat Delilah. Now an orphan, Evangeline had no family save her uncle that she had only seen twice. Bobby Finstock. He lived in Beacon Hills, taught at the high school, and coached the lacrosse team. With Bobby never having cared for another living being, and Evangeline never being outside of her hometown, the new family arrangement proves to be very different. Evangeline navigates the new town and starting at a new high school for sophomore year. Why are some of the students at her new school so interested in her? Why does she get the creeps whenever she's near the forest? Why can't she shake the feeling that there is more at play in the small town of Beacon Hills?

Stiles Stilinski and Katarzyna (Kat) Finstock, have been best friends since they were 7 years old. They do everything together, they have always been attached at the hip. Now they are sophomores in high school. Kat and Stiles bonded over their names having a similar origin. Katarzyna Finstock is Coach Bobby Finstocks' daughter.

After a hostile argument with her mother Poppy Finstock moves back in with her father - as the town knows him as 'Coach'. Unfortunately, it wasn't known to Poppy the hidden dangers of the small and quaint town Beacon Hills. How will Poppy remain safe? Her high school is a hot spot for danger and death after all.
