Brandy Bradshaw has been a part of a Navy family her entire life. Her father flew with one of the most decorated captains in the Navy before he died, her older brother is a Top Gun graduate, the decorated air captain is her godfather- love for the Navy is in her blood, whether she wants it or not. As much as she loves being a part of a Navy Aviator family, the skies are not her forte. Seeing first hand the grief her family went through after her father died, the grief that stayed with them long after, Brandy did the most logical thing: she went to college, got a degree in psychology, and is now working on her PhD, all to help people like her family work through grief and trauma gathered from being a part of the military. After adding a section in her dissertation on women in the field, Brandy jumps at the opportunity to follow her brother Bradley back to Top Gun, earning special clearance to follow their friend Natasha Trace for research. But Natasha doesn't come alone, she comes with a glasses wearing WSO Brandy can't think straight around... and as it would turn out, if she wants to follow Natasha, she has to work with Bob Floyd as well. After graduating the naval academy Dove was stationed in Pearl Harbor for 3 years, She didn't hear from her older brother often. She then was sent to Top Gun where she graduated first in her class with Phoenix, who quickly became her best friend, slightly behind in second. When Dove gets told she is being called back to Top Gun, will she be ready for the truth to come out about why her Uncle Pete cut all contact after her mothers funeral, or what Rooster and Mavericks fight that day was really about? Will She be ready to open up to love after her rocky past relationship? Will everyone she cares about make it back from this mission alive?

delilah "butterfly" simpson loves hard. she always wanted to marry young, so when she finds her dream man she doesn't hesitate to say yes when he proposes to her. it catches everyones attention when they find out that quiet bob is married to the 26 year old outspoken, extraverted top gun student.
