Hawkins, Indiana is just some small town that nobody knows where to pin on a map. It's a small, close-knit town where nothing ever happens, and when it does, it's the only event of the year. Rebecca Newby lives in that town, and luckily enough - or unluckily, depending on how you look at it - for her, every damn event of the year gets packed into a week. Change, growth, emotions, danger, and death all await Beck... starting when a little, eleven-year-old boy, named William Byers, goes missing off of Mirkwood Road, on the night of November 6, 1983.
