While being held in the containment unit, Mr Incredible confesses a few truths to Syndrome. This takes place after the missile attack and Bob feels his family is dead.

An alternate story for the Incredibles 2. Includes plot twists and actual Incredibles theories. Syndrome's alive and he's a time traveler. He's a genius, he imagined his death but he never accepted it. He'd do all he could to survive, including playing safe. Syndrome didn't only have one plan, he had two: to become the only Super, and to steal a Super's powers in the upcoming process. He killed off the previous Super's in his anger because the latter plan always failed, will he find a way to steal Superpowers? He captured Mr. Incredible, paralysing him and, luckily for Syndrome, his family. The Incredibles: strength, elasticity, invisibility and speed, Syndrome hopes to steal their powers and make his master plan come true, he hopes to kill The Incredibles after, save the city and then be deemed a hero. But will it all go as smoothly as he hopes? Soon, life will never be the same again for Syndrome.

Helen is very forgiving, and allows Bob's late arrival to the wedding slide. But, it doesn't mean she didn't want to know what happened to have caused the delay in the first place
