In a kinder universe, Jyn Erso, Bodhi Rook, and Cassian Andor end up walking away from Scarif. They should be dead. But they are not. They have cheated death. So many times too. They do not return to the Rebellion. They abscond, hoping so desperately to find some freedom and peace away from the war that is now raging across the galaxy. Even with Krennic, the man who took her family and everything from her still alive, Jyn Erso sees no need to return to the fight. She was promised freedom and she got just that. Three years later, that peace or any peace that they had so desperately wanted and sought out vanishes. There are whispers from the Bothans, whispers that something terrible is about to be recreated. And the Rebellion that they had so desperately wanted to get away from is demanding one last mission of them. To finish this fight. A/N : this AU fic will attempt to cover the events of the original trilogy but with some modifications. That being Krennic, Jyn, Cassian, and Bodhi still alive. Spoilers for Andor S2 are present!

Among them is the imperial pilot, a traitor against the Empire, named Bodhi Rook, who Mira instantly takes a liking to, finding it nice to have another traitor along. Joining their group, will the others find out the truth about Mira's past? Will she stay true to the Rebellion and help them obtain the plans, or turn back to her roots? **Star Wars characters and storyline rights go to LucasFilms and any collaborators involved in the making of them. Mira Esme is the only character I own and any storylines that aren't in the movie are mine.
