Jean and Marco made a promise. A promise to meet up every Thursday, in secret, as a way to hide, yet embrace, their relationship. Each Thursday, they would spend all day wrapped up in each others arms, wasting time just watching the clouds, telling stories, and being complete goofballs. One day though, Jean presents Marco with a gift. A gift that unknowingly starts the end of their lives together.

But instead of being siblings, they're childhood friends that lives together in a mansion, because of who their parents are. One day, Marco and Jean were playing in one of the rooms of the mansion until Marco accidentally blasts Jean in the face with ice and snow. Jeans family rushes over to a couple of witches, (who are supposed to be the rock trolls....) who were forced to work for the nobles. When they got there, Jean has no choice but to get rid of the memories they have with each other playing with Marco's powers. Both they're parents left for business in France and America. When they died, the two were upset. But since Marco was older than all his siblings, he had no choice but take over the family name. While Jean had to wait 6 years before taking over. When the day Marco does take over, he finally comes out of his room and a ceremony happens, he has an outburst and runs way from a shocked Jean and villagers. ~~~~~~~~~~ Hope you enjoy. ~_Insane_Bookworm_

To make things short, this is one of the many corny JeanMarco Coffee Shop AUs, but "Name" is just my own take on how things sort of went down that day at Starbucks. My fic was also read aloud by ask-marco-bodts-voice on tumblr, so I suggest you go give it a listen because he's my headcanon voice for Marco. The title of this story is mildly based off of the Goo Goo Dolls' smash hit which sort of gave me the idea for the actual plot of this fic. Thank you, Johnny Rzeznik. "Name" is prone to be a bit goofy at times because I'm a goober and I can't resist. Plus, it features French Jean Kirschtein. You might know this story as one of the many Coffee Shop AU spinoffs, or you might know it as the one in which two dudes' hearts are irreversibly entwined by something way beyond their control from a time much earlier. In other words, yes, the story of Jean and Marco will go much further than just cheesy romance in a modern café. They go way back. Lexi not only wants to join the scout regiment for her own family pride; she wants to find out as much as possible about the titans. With her friends help, Lexi overcomes the problems along the way, improving her relationships with her peers, finally learning that she can't do everything alone......Will Lexi ever find out what the titans are?
