As it is soon discovered, there's been a shadowy figure watching the Dukes and the Defects very closely. Translator and journalist Luz Diaz moved to Hazzard county about a month ago to write peacefully, away from the city. Bo Duke, Luz's neighbor, is just trying to hide from sheriff Rosco P. Coltrane. He'd been snooping around Boss' office, trying to discover something about his and a certain Mr. Morales' plans when he'd been caught by the sheriff. Luz's house is perfect, because no one ever seems to be in there. The house looks nice enough, and nobody seems to be inside, as usual. When Luz catches him hiding in her kitchen, Rosco happens to gather enough courage to get inside the house. Both Luz and Bo find themselves in a less than desirable position - Bo being caught snooping around in a private office, and Luz being accused of hiding a criminal. Turns out, something bigger than them is at stake.
