Diana and Ben are forced to work together to try to escape the murderous doctors - until she discovers Ben might not be the victim he makes himself out to be. The only person Diana can trust is herself, and if she fails, her eyes won't give her another nine lives. You may think some heroes were mortal, however they gained their powers from the gods themselves. However, as humanity progressed the gods' genes throughout humanity grew stronger, however the human spirit refused to let a god take over the body thus humans went through a hyper evolutionary process giving them powers without a god needed. because of this most of humanity was given powers either by being a direct descendant to a god or having a power of their own. However, Raiden doesn't have either. Raiden has dreamed of being a hero yet doesn't have any powers to save anyone with. Yet his mother still sent in an application to go to a top hero school.
