A Crown Between Us
Princess Anneira Valemont has spent her entire life surrounded by privilege, expectations, and the quiet shadow of a mother she never had the chance to know.
As the youngest daughter of King Alistair Valemont, Anneira has always struggled against the invisible boundaries that come with being royal. She wants freedom. Her father wants to protect her. And when her growing public presence begins attracting unwanted attention, he makes a decision she cannot change: assigning her a new personal protection officer.
Sebastian is disciplined, guarded, and entirely devoted to his duty. He has no intention of becoming anything more than Princess Anneira's protector-and certainly no intention of falling in love with her.
Anneira, however, has never been particularly good at following rules.
What begins as an unwanted arrangement slowly becomes something neither of them can control. Behind palace walls and beneath the scrutiny of the world, Anneira discovers the man beneath Sebastian's rigid exterior, while Sebastian begins to see the woman behind the crown.
But loving a princess comes with consequences.
When duty, family, and power collide, Sebastian is forced to make an impossible choice: protect the woman he loves, or protect her from himself.
Because sometimes the greatest threat to a princess isn't the world outside the palace.
Sometimes, it's the love she was never supposed to have.
