This will be my collection of poems reflecting on societies obsession with weight and size and the effect this has on us and how we can change this. We shouldn't be allowing it to determine whether we should be happy, successful or loved. Enough is enough. Start living. You deserve it all now. Once upon a time there was a skinny kid who had wings to fly, voice that could put angels to shame and feet that befriended rhythm & grace. Now hopelessness had gripped his soul ,insecurities shackled his feet and numbness embraced his voice. Why ? What happened? Today's society and its unrealistic beauty standards. That's what happened.
