Alice Hyde è una ragazza come le altre, ma dopo una serie di spiacevoli eventi è costretta a lasciare Edimburgo per trasferirsi a Londra. Qui la sua vita verrà sconvolta da Chase Williams, un ragazzo tanto affascinante quanto enigmatico, che segnerà Alice in modo indelebile. Per Alice non sarà difficile farsi nuove amicizie. Conoscerà Jane e Violet, due ragazze che abbracceranno i suoi demoni. 11 years ago, Chihiro accidentally stumbled upon another world full of wonder and way out of anything humans can imagine. It was a world full of new experiences and adventures with danger at every corner. But alas, Chihiro had to return back to her own world in the end. Or was it the end? She never forgot her time in the spirit world and yearned to return. It wasn't just because of the spirit world and its awes. It was also because of a certain river spirit.
