Historias de Bohol

I wrote some Haiku in 2012 and found they captured the world as I saw it. It is such an enjoyable, challenging art form and I may add more to this collection. Feedback is golden as they say, so please feel free to comment : )

Life at Sea

Sa pagtakas ni Charmaine sa kamay ng kanyang amain ay nauwi siya sa dayuhan na Pranses na si Nico. Hindi niya akalain na totoo pala na gwapo ang prince charming. Tinulungan siya nitong makatakas at isinama siya sa bahay ng lalake. Ngunit engaged na ito kay Sofia. Maganda, elegante at edukada...hindi katulad niya na hindi marunong magsalita ng Ingles.

Bohol is one of the most famous tourist destinations because of "Chocolate Hills." But did you know that this province in the Central Visayan region has a lot more to offer? To give you an overview, this place has different spots suited for families, friends and even couples. Some of these landmarks are offered and organized by different tour operators in the Philippines.

This is a poem about the great disaster that happened to the Filipinos in Cebu and Bohol. It was because of an earthquake last October, and a huge typhoon named "Yolanda" this November. It shows how we Filipinos helped one another in standing strong, being courageous, and keeping our undivided faith in the Lord!
