Luz Noceda was always an odd duck. She was able to see things nobody else could, but it was passed off. It was always passed off. Then he couldn't think of a place, so he lives at Hexside school to stay. Then he wants to find out who he really is. With his friends on the side, they will help find who he is. Also, he has a little crush on a green hair boy name Edric that also kind of likes him back.

Everyone knows how Luz is the only Human in the Boiling Isles, right? Well, in this story, not really. Summer arrived before Luz did. Curiosity killed the cat after all, and she walked in the portal. Her life has been a game of survival since, and she has spent so much time alone she has forgotten how to control and recognize her own emotions around other people. So, when she and Luz finally meet, anger overwhelms her, and she does something she ends up regretting later. She works hard to be able to help fix the portal, to potentially go back home, but when a new mission has her stuck in school, with Luz of all people, she doesn't know how to react. Should she apologize? Should she ignore her and continue the mission? And will Luz help her realize who's side she should be on? Which side even is that?
