NOTE: This is the version of the story being redone. Khenan Ambers was always regarded as a weird child throughout his school life. Weren't all the kids strange though? Despite the number of weird kids in his current grade, Khenan was a bit next level and nobody would hang out with him because of that. Plus, he had pointed ears, which made other kids feel awkward around him. Thankfully, that wasn't the case with Luz Noceda. The two instantly clicked with their similar interests. Khenan would mostly get bullied for his particular obsession with music. Luckily, Luz was there to help him out against those bullies. His friendship blossomed with her as they both aged. However, once they hit high school, Khenan had a couple of problems. He struggled to keep his self-esteem up due to his depression, procrastinated on schoolwork that led to him completing them during class, and kept getting into trouble. Speaking of trouble, Khenan beat up his bully for getting his Walkman broken. But of course, the person getting bullied has to get punished rather than the bully themselves. Luz is also called up to the office for her shared book report with Khenan, which caused a certain amount of chaos. Next, they're both in a magical world that most likely differs from the summer camp they were sent to. Khenan navigates through that world on a journey of peril, trust, romance, and longing. He even gradually learns information about his family, especially about his mother who went missing years prior. |This contains scenes that will be inappropriate for younger viewers|

It's been three years since Luz left the Boiling Isles, and she had almost lost hope of ever returning. That is, until a small owl with big, bright yellow eyes shows up on a buy and sell website...

What if...? Luz split the curse with Eda and become the Owl Girl?

A young man lost in a world unknown to most. Only a few have ever gotten lost here. but even fewer have ever left. Welcome to The Boiling isles. just a heads up this will be taking place a few years before the Canon Owl House which will most likely change a lot of the Canon too later I'll go on its own thing. I will also try expanding the world to more than just the boiling isles. I want to try inserting characters inspired by y'all, and other artists. I will also include maps made by fans of the show to try and put it in a bigger and more complex world. I want to try and make an actual world that takes place beyond the boiling isles. And I will need help doing something like that. if you have a character or know of a character that was made by somebody else show me what that character looks like and the artist behind them and I will insert them into the story in some way. you can also make it to where the character is from a different place and I will find a way to put that into the story. also home when it comes to the time the Cannon story takes place the main character of this story will most likely not be involved. this entire story will be from the perspective of my main character. meaning when they leave the boiling isles we will stick with them. and like I said if y'all want your own character inserted just let me know and you will take full credit unless it was made by another artist. All credit for the inspiration of the story goes to Dana Terrace for creating The Owl House.

(I'm changing the dates) When Harry Potter was born, Mother Magic marked him as her chosen to bring balance back to the wizarding world but Albus Dumbledore sees him as a pawn to use for his plans and made up a prophecy that he is to destroy Voldemort Mother Magic, not wanting her chosen to be manipulated decided to send Harry to the Titan/demon Realm where he will be raised until he is ready Luz and Amity found him and decided to raise him as their own. Follow Harry as he enjoys his life on the boiling Isles. But when he turns 14 something happens and he ends up in a place he doesn't know and a old goat is right there

Once a promise is broken, there's no going back. After having just saved Eda the owl lady from the emperor's hands, who knows what else is in store for Luz the human. How will she get home? Can she handle the Harsh reality of the situation knowing now that she's a wanted criminal in the boiling isles? And what does that mean for her relationship with amity? Some warnings: -rated PG 13 -some mild foul language/humor -it's a very slow burn like really really slow -very angsty -some fluff here and there -no nsfw because cmon, they're literally children. -buckle up causes this is a long story -lgbtq rights and all -this is a girl loving another girl so if you don't like that then don't read the story. Eda found you waddling around the same castle that she found King in, and she's been basically your mother ever since! TW's won't be before chapters, but I'm listing them all here: -Abuse -Self harm against own will -Cursing -Anxiety and panic attacks -Cringe 🤪 -Murder(kinda) This is a rewrite of Behind The Mask. The plot is different in this one, and i'm writing it in a better mental state, so it should be better. All characters belong to Dana Terrace, except Y/N, whom belongs to you ofc! **Jax belongs to me btw so don't steal him :(

Y/N has always wanted to be in the Emperor's coven, and she has finally made it in at the age of 16. She's gotten used to the harsh conditions and tries her hardest to succeed and proceed through the ranks.
