American student Alyvia Banks attends Karasuno High School where she is assistant manager to Karasuno's volleyball club. Her best friend, and rival, Campbell Paku goes to Nekoma Tokyo Metropolitan High School where she is the head manager. Paku transfered to Nekoma after her family visited Tokyo from America. Paku instantly fell in love with the city and moved a little outside of Tokyo. Anyway, this is the story of Paku and Bank's friendship as they meet others from Japan's top volleyball clubs.

Inspired by the characters, this young girl writes about how she learnt to never give up and always keep trying. Haikyuu has the power to find motivation in life, especially in sports. Akaashi and bokuto were college students. They've always been close since high school and their volleyball years. But did Akaashi think of Bokuto as anything else but a friend?
