The way Rahul did when he was not overcome with madness..which Sunny Deol/Sunil failed to do ... this made me root for Rahul even if he was absolutely wrong in everything he did, except loving Kiran. two: I desperately wanted Rahul to have a redemption ark and find some peace in his life...which if you watched the movie you know didn't happen... the purpose of this story is to give him that redemption **** It will eventually turn into a Rahul/Kiran story...*** and Kiran deserved much better than Sunil who ridiculed her and didn't believe her when she expressed concerns about being followed. Even him going against Rahul was more of an act of protecting what was his rather than out of love or concern for Kiran... Rahul had what Sunil didn't... he loved her truly but couldn't understand the reality of her not returning his feelings...
