Tom has just started his service in the German army when Palestinian terrorists attack the Israeli team at the Olympic Games in Munich. Together with Phil in a crisis team at the Bonn Ministry of Defense, he witnesses the dramatic events in Munich and their embarrassing consequences for the German government, culminating in the "hijacking" of the Lufthansa plane "Kiel". I would like to point out once again that this book is fiction, even though it is based on intensive research into the historical context.
