Elena came from a family or a clan of soldiers, if you can't be a soldier then you either become a doctor or a lawyer. At the age of 3 every children in her family or clan starts their training for martial arts. Every member of her family knows how to fight, like the basics of being a soldier. how to fight, survive in a jungle, survive when you are kidnapped or held hostage, how to use a gun and many more. When Elena was young she already started liking singing and dancing. Her family supported her passion for dancing but not singing, because they said that dancing helps with her rhythm when fighting and it's also a part of their training since young. As Elena grew up her passion for dancing and singing got stronger to the point that she wants to at least try being an idol. So she made a deal with her parents, she will finish her study to be a soldier and a training for the Army. If she finish those she has two years to train to be an idol, if she doesn't become and idol in that timeframe she would go back to be a soldier, and if she succeed on becoming an idol she have eight years to be an idol and after those eight years she come back to be a soldier.
