Dar informatiile din acele carti se dovedira intr-adevar folositoare atunci cand Alex se trezi in grajdurile cailor Reginei Victoria, aparent din cauza unui ceas antic gasit in podul bunicii sale.

A young English adventurer found the box in India during the British Raj and it passed through his family collecting the spirits of his descendents to the present day. Kim inadvertently is swallowed into the box and taken back in time to British Calcutta where she must stay until she can discover the key to release the spirits inside and return to her own time and family.

A mysterious figure named Sir Fabron arrives at Fontainebleau, house of Napoleon Bonaparte, in 1805. He enters Fontainebleau, meeting the emperor face to face. The stranger wishes only to ask Napoleon a few questions regarding the Louisiana Purchase and its true value, and Napoleon allows the stranger to in seven, precise questions.
