This is a story based in the 1920's where a 22 year old london return Barrister, Anirudh Roy Choudhary returns back to India to fight for the women rights. And coincidentally, he meets Bondita Das, a 8 year old girl who has a lot of curiosity about the things going around in the society and questions abouth the senseless rituals. They get married in such such circumstances that Aniruddh marries Bondita to save her from being Sati. As years passed, things change. Anirudh has now fallen for Bondita.
