Historias de Bonfire

I am just writing this as part of my MA Creative Writing course and as I recover from brain injury which has caused aphasia so will be posting the things randomly in response to the course but for this specific book set in the 1920s.

The B Night--the beach, the bonfire, the barbecue, the butterflies, and the boy. TUCKER AND KALANIS SHORT STORY ROMANCE Old story- i might tweak it and make it longer if u want :}

~ I wish I could capture this moment forever. The yellow glow of the fire behind me penetrates and shines through the water and onto Emmett's face. I can see all his features, as every curve and line of his face, and every eyelash is highlighted. The darkness behind him shines through, casting shadows under his cheekbones and jaw. His hair softly hovers angelically above him, waving gently, even more, vibrant with the orange light. ~ Teenager Violet, has the chance to visit the town 'Idania.' This town, home to villages and a castle, is where Violet is set to stay for three weeks with a boy of her same age, Emmett. The trip is supposed to be relaxing, peaceful and adventurous, but the tables turn once Violet and her newfound friend as they discover a secret plot to overthrow the kingdom and have them both murdered. Feelings arise between the two, and emotions crash under the pressure with no other escape in sight: they must figure out who it is that wants to kill them before it's too late.

After years filled with comfort and warmth, Lillian Roberts has eventually grown tired of her quiet life she is longing for something unknown. Her longing finally comes to an end when a new boy moves to town. She's drawn by the unfamiliarity and strangeness about him. But with this boy comes a long list of consequences for Lillian, how she is willing to deal with them is up to her...

This is just a simple short story that I thought of as I watched the fireworks on Fourth of July, so yeah not really much. I know it sounds boring but please read it I think it's good for a mind bubble. Happy birthday America! Gay pride! July fourth 2015! I wrote this a while ago so I just decided to publish it now.

That little secret sparked a wire in my dream as I fell in love with a racer. Who knew sexy Cowboys could be badass racers.
