What could be better than enjoying a vacation with the whole gang? Of course, Bonnibel had the spring vacation all planned out in her head. Something that didn't exactly go by her plans however, had been the strange cave that a friend and herself had stumbled upon. What exactly does the incident have in store for the strawberry blonde, and just how twisted up will this school get away get?

It's been years since the mysterious Mushroom War of Ooo. Two girls: both opposites, but the same conflicts Bonnie - or Princess Bubblegum, had formed and helped a little girl named Marcy. She's still angry about Simon Petrikov for calling her "yuck." She helped him get chicken soup, and he insulted her. After the destruction, she had to make a kingdom so that Ooo will be repopulated. But, she has to face the facts: All she ever wanted was to be free, not be a leader of some crummy kingdom. But when that happens, she has no choice but to do it... Marcy - or Marceline, had left Simon. Or Simon left her, because of that crown. The only reason why tears are always over-flooding her is because Simon has forgotten that he loves her, and the memories they have cherished together. Even though he left her, she still loved him. She met Bonnie, who helped her with the chicken soup, and helped her to let go of the Simon incident. As repayment, they became best friends - sort of. But first, she has to choose: Will she go back to the Nightosphere, along with her irresponsible and real father? Or, will she just enjoy her youth with her frenemy, Bonnie?
